Delivers Better Performance at a Lower Price than Similar LED Products on the Market
LIGHTFAIR® International – May 16, 2011 – Broadening the company’s range of economical, sustainable lighting solutions, Ecosense Lighting will introduce the EcoSpec Floodlight Wash LED fixture at LIGHTFAIR International 2011.
The EcoSpec Floodlight Wash is an ultra-bright white light fixture designed for indoor and outdoor architectural use. Available in August of this year, these fixtures deliver a brighter, more energy-efficient, and lower-priced alternative to similar LED-based products on the market today. They quickly pay for themselves in reduced maintenance, replacement and energy costs and provide substantial cost savings over their 50,000-hour usage life.
Like all Ecosense fixtures, the EcoSpec Floodlight Wash is RoHS compliant and lead- and mercury-free. It features powerful, energy-efficient LEDs along with precision constant current circuits for long-life applications. Flicker-free, full-range deep dimming capabilities – – down to less than 1% is standard with this fixture. Standard Incandescent Triac or ELV Dimmers can be used to control the fixtures. Using smart power technology and with integral drivers, EcoSpec Floodlight WASH fixtures connect directly to line voltage AC power without any additional hardware — simplifying installation and minimizing costs.
“The design of the new EcoSpec Floodlight Wash fixture was driven by a combination of aesthetic and functionality goals,” notes Ray Letasi, President and COO of Ecosense Lighting. The result is a product that delivers a host of features and benefits that specifiers demand, and that comparable competitive offerings cannot claim.” These include:
• Built-in Gore™ vents to block moisture and prevent corrosion even in extreme conditions
• Vertical aiming angles of 190°
• An ergonomic locking mechanism and integrated safety cable mounting hook
• Enclosed internal power cable from fixture to junction box for clean installation
Ideal for a variety of floodlight or spotlight applications, the EcoSpec Floodlight Wash is available in a range of warm white color temperatures as well as a neutral white color temperature. The EcoSpec Floodlight Wash offers many available configuration options, all of which can be easily implemented in the field. An 11° base fixture beam angle combines with optional interchangeable optical film panels to provide a range of beam angles, which, along with available half- and full-visor shields for fine-tuning of light direction, make it suitable for a full range of architectural projects. This robust, cast aluminum fixture is available in black or white finish.
• Available Color Temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K
• Beam Angles with Available Optical Film Panels: 30°x30°, 60°x60°, 80°x80°, 10°x60°
Along with the EcoSpec Floodlight Wash, Ecosense will also unveil its EcoSpec Linear HP EXT product family at LIGHTFAIR. The entire Ecosense product line will be on display at Booth 3905 during the show.
Ecosense products are developed by lighting designers for the lighting design community, ensuring that they meet the aesthetic and performance requirements of even the most demanding projects. To assure uniform color temperature across fixtures, Ecosense has developed a highly stringent LED binning criteria to produce a yield that exceeds the ANSI standards requirement by 400%. This ensures that project standards need not be compromised by inconsistent color output from unit to unit.
All Ecosense products meet the highest industry performance standards and are backed by an unprecedented three-year manufacturer warranty. For more information, visit www.ecosenselighting.com.
