A seasoned entrepreneur who has already established several
successful ventures in his career, Mr. Mueller is the author
of over 50 technology patents in the solid-state lighting
field and beyond. With the creation of Color Kinetics in
1996, he helped propel the widespread cross-market adoption
of LEDs as an illumination source, ushering in a new era
of digital lighting that continues to thrive. Recognized
as an innovative business leader, he was named Ernst &
Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year 2005. Mr. Mueller
earned a BS from Carnegie Mellon University with a dual
major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor
in Fine Art.
Mr. Letasi is responsible for running the day to day operations
of the company. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales,
International for Color Kinetics (Now Philips Soild-State
Lighting Solutions). He held several Sales Management and
Business Development positions during ten years with Color
Kinetics, spearheading the company's Japanese joint venture
partnership as well as launching sales, marketing and distribution
programs throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, Japan and the
Middle East, achieving continuous revenue and market share
growth in those regions. He has over 15 years of global
business experience in the semiconductor, LED and lighting
industries. Mr. Letasi received a BA in Economics from the
University of Michigan and studied at the Japanese Centre
for Michigan Universities in Shiga, Japan.
Ms. Chan brings 20 years of China-based engineering and supply chain management experience to EcoSense, where she is responsible for the growth, direction and management of the company's engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain operations. For the past 10 years, Ms. Chan was Director of China Operations for Philips Color Kinetics, where she established and successfully managed the project and design engineering, quality, supply chain and production divisions of the company's China-based business. Prior to Color Kinetics she held senior engineering and operations management position at BAO Ltd. and Radica, Inc. (acquired by Mattel), both leading companies in the electronic gaming and toy industry. Ms. Chan earned an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and a B.E. in Electronic Engineering with honors from Hong Kong Polytechnic.
Mr. McCulley is responsible for expanding the company's business development, sales and marketing initiatives in the U.S. His 24 years of lighting industry sales experience are marked by a solid track record of building successful sales teams and positioning companies for profitability while growing revenue. Mr. McCulley spent nearly 10 years in the sales organization at Color Kinetics, establishing market strategies and a manufacturer network for the professional lighting segment and exceeding revenue and margin targets in over sixteen consecutive quarters to help position the company for its IPO and eventual acquisition by Philips. Prior to joining EcoSense, Mr. McCulley was Vice President of Global Sales for Renaissance Lighting. He has also held sales positions with American Light and E. Sam Jones, and attended Southwest Texas University and University of Houston.
Mr. Gamble brings nearly 15 years of lighting industry sales
experience to EcoSense, where he is responsible for the
company's business development and sales activity in the
Europe/Middle East markets. Most recently, he was Director
of Sales for Europe/Middle East with Philips Lighting and
Color Kinetics, where he built a sales team that exponentially
increased revenue and established the Color Kinetics brand
among the European specifier community. He has also held
Business Development and Sales positions with Wila Leuchten
GmbH in Germany and Thorn Lighting Ltd. in the U.K. Mr.
Gamble received a BS in Engineering from University of Central
England, Birmingham.
Mr. Leichner brings eight years of architectural lighting
and industrial design experience to the product marketing
team at EcoSense Lighting. His work at Lighting Design Collaborative
on a wide range of lighting projects in Philadelphia, New
York City, and nationwide builds upon the BFA he received
from Rhode Island School of Design in Industrial Design.
